She was predeceased by: her husband Simon "Sam" Boozer; her parents, Dewey "Duke" Hillis and Catherine Hillis; and her sister Jessie Kelly Morris. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Waters; her sister Carol Evans; her granddaughter Heather Waters; and her cousins, Jane Wright, Alice Royal and Ann Taylor. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
