He is survived by: his children, Kristi Rooks Boles of Monroe, GA and Jud; his daughter-in-law Amber Rooks of Statesboro, GA; his brother James Rooks of Snellville, GA; his siblings-in-law, Patricia P. and Brett Darr of Sylvania; his grandchildren, Madison Boles of Monroe, GA, Mallory Boles of Monroe, GA, Andrew Gary of Statesboro, GA, William Gary of Statesboro, GA, Emerson Rooks of Statesboro, GA and Rhys Rooks of Statesboro, GA; and his nephew Jason Rooks.

Those attending the visitation and service are asked to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
