He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Bowen Taylor (Kenneth) of Sylvania and Ed Marvin Bowen (Jennifer) of Millen; and his siblings, Rose Howell (Ed), Alice Moss (Harold), Thelma Williams, Joe Boings, James Bowens, Jack Boings (Ginny) and Tommy Boings (Margeret). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
