He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bowens and Daisy Bowens; his daughter Regina Ann Bowen; and his siblings, Faye Phillips, Kermitt Boings, May Boings and Frank Boings.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Bowen Tayler (Kenneth) of Sylvania and Ed Marvin Bowen (Jennifer) of Millen; and his siblings, Rose Howell (Ed), Alice Moss (Harold), Thelma Williams, Joe Boings, James Bowens, Jack Boings (Ginny) and Tommy Boings (Margeret). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson Strickland Waters, Joiner Anderson Chapel (202 Ennis St, Sylvania, GA 30467). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
