He was predeceased by : his daughter Kristan Strickland Smoak; his parents, Max Kutz Strickland and Cassie Elise Strickland; and his mother-in-law Bernice W. Griner. He is survived by : his wife Kay Strickland; and his grandsons, Kameron Max Smoak of Sylvania, GA and Tanner Kaiden Smoak of Sylvania, GA. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles; and several special nieces and nephews.
