He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Nicholson, Sr. and Virgie Mattie Nicholson; his wife Mary Lucy Fries Nicholson; and his brother Michael Nicholson. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Edward Fries. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bay Branch Cemetery (4029 Millen Hwy, Sylvania, GA 30467).
