She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walter and Sarah Margaret Brower Pitts; her brother-in-law David Scott; her niece Bridgett Ann Woods; and her grandson Austin Ward.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammi; her son-in-law William "Bill" Sutton of Sylvania; her son Eric; her daughter-in-law Wendy Ward of Woodstock; her grandchildren, Bailee Sutton of Sylvania, Chandler Sutton of Sylvania and Savannah Ward of Sylvania; her siblings, Andy Pitts and Linda Scott; her siblings' children, Jennifer Smith, Jason and Echo Scott; her great-niece Abagail Smith; Madison Tyson of Sylvania and Hazel Tyson of Sylvania.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thompson Strickland Waters Joiner Anderson Chapel (202 Ennis St, Sylvania, GA 30467). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
