It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ottis R. McBride (Sylvania, Georgia), who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George O. McBride and Maud McBride; and his siblings, Lorine M. Thompson, Gloria M. Becton, Jewel M. Becton, Faye M. Montgomery and Arnold McBride.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette L. McBride; his children, Deborah McBride, Nancy M. Jones (Jerry) and Michael McBride (Kellie); his grandchildren, Tabatha Hoogstad (Gregg), Cody Taylor of Philip Harrison, IV., Jennifer Clarke (Bradley), Jordan Cryder (Harvey), Jarrett McBride (Caitlin), Chris Pye (Alexis) and Emily Lyons (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Ren Brower, Case Clarke, Gadson McBride, Josie McBride, Harper Pye, Dallas Pye, Aikman Pye and Brody Lyons; and his siblings, Barbara M. Speering, Gaile M. Ramsey, Wanda McBride, Alton McBride and Jerry McBride.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDonald Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
