He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Clarence Rush; his grandmother Mazie Carlos; his brothers, Leo Derry and Samuel Derry; his aunt Elene Carlos; his brother-in-law Robert Brown; his wife Paulette Lundy Rush; his children, Michael A. Rush II of Philadelphia, PA, Angela Rush of Ft. Worth, TX, Katrice Rush of Ft. Worth, TX and Sheila Rush of Sylvester, GA; his grandchildren, Jymika, Thomas, Ni'Yahna, Anastasia of Norman, TJ and Genesis; his cousin Paul Carlos; Ethel Derry. He was also cherished by other relatives, his church family, and many other sorrowing friends.
