He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Leon and Leola Johns Key; and his son Joseph "Joey" Key. He is survived by: his wife Kiyoko Key; and his children, Jeffery Warden (Terri), Thomas Key (Sabrina) and Mellisa Day (Jason). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
