It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmer Mae Dupree of Sylvester, Georgia, who passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eunie Mae White and Joseph E Lavender; her siblings, Gladys Deese, Margaret Tribulak, Terry Lavender, Vernard Lavender and Everett Lavender; her son-in-law Clayton Smith; and her children, Rayford and Cindy.

She is survived by: her husband Dennis Dupree; her children, Lonnie Dupree (Robin) of Sylvester, Dianne Smith (late Clayton Smith) of Sylvester and Sylvia Cope (Bryant) of Moultrie; her grandchildren, Christie Worsham (Lane), Amy Dupree, Sharon Smith, Robert Smith (Anna), David Farr, Ray Dupree (Heather), Renee Gordon (Josh), Haley Roberts (Mason) and Brandon Cope; and her siblings, Paul Lavender, Dorothy Dupree, Betty June Alford, Clovis Collier and Glenda Verhine.
