She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Claude and Janie Mae Newell; and her former husband Billy Paramore. She is survived by: her husband Sammy Calhoun; her children, Jeff Paramore (Gail), Shelley Parrish and Sammy Calhoun, Jr. (Shelia); her grandchildren, Jordyn Lott (Hunter), Ragan Paramore (Karli), Darrell Parrish (Taylor), Austin Parrish (Emily) and Morgan Vernor (Jerry); her great grandchildren, Mercer, Denver Lott, Raiden, Connor Parrish, Adelynne and Finley Vernor; and her brother Roy Newell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Banks Funeral Home (210 N Main St, Sylvester, GA 31791). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at the Kimball Cemetery (Sylvester, GA 31744).
