It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dave F. Stanley of Talking Rock, Georgia, who passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ted Stanley and Georgia Jones Stanley; his wife Frances Mae Shipman Stanley; and his son Joseph Burton Stanley. He is survived by: his daughters, April (Jeff Welch) and Faith (Zeb McAllister); his brother Bobby Stanley; and his grandchildren, Adam Strickler (Haleigh), Allison Strickler, Abigail Wright, Ava Wright and Fiona McAllister. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540).
