He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ted Stanley and Georgia Jones Stanley; his wife Frances Mae Shipman Stanley; and his son Joseph Burton Stanley. He is survived by: his daughters, April (Jeff Welch) and Faith (Zeb McAllister); his brother Bobby Stanley; and his grandchildren, Adam Strickler (Haleigh), Allison Strickler, Abigail Wright, Ava Wright and Fiona McAllister. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
