He was predeceased by: his parents, David Decature McArthur and Liller Montree Coffey McArthur; and his stepson Wesley Patterson. He is survived by: his daughter Deana "Becky" Patterson (David Eric) of Ellijay, GA; his stepdaughter-in-law Eddie Patterson (Darlene Holtzclaw) of Ellijay, GA; his grandsons, Randy Herrick (Brittany), Eric Mosley and Derrick Mosley; and his pet Rex. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
