With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Clayton Long of Talking Rock, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2026 at the age of 62. He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Long and Virginia Long; his nephews, Greg Knight and Theron Knight; and his brother Paul Scott.
He is survived by: his daughters, Hannah Smith (Adam) and Sarah Couch (Houston); his grandchildren, Christin Mills (Austin), Addyson Smith, Hudson Smith and Gabriella Ward; his great grandchildren, Rhett Mills, Reagan Mills and Adeline Mills; and his siblings, Joanne Knight, Jim Long (Marie) and Joe Long (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
