She was predeceased by: her parents, Carson Payne and Clara Belle "Pud" Payne. She is survived by: her son Gary Simmons (Angie); her grandchildren, Chasity Fitzgerald (Jim), Brittany Willingham (Andrew), Sean Cheshire (Harlee), Chelsey Parham (Shane), Payton Cheshire (Amber) and Jesse Cheshire; her siblings, Bud Payne and Lisa Payne; and her daughter-in-law Becky Voyles.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cagle Funeral Home (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Town Creek Baptist Church (505 Town Creek Church Rd, Talking Rock, GA 30175).
