It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Lamar Ledford of Talking Rock, Georgia, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jahue Ledford and Myrtle Sims Jones. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ledford; his children, Michelle Chapin, Ronald L. Ledford, Jr. and Melissa Williams; his grandchildren, Seth, Joshua, Chelsea, Benjamin, Ellie, Kendal and McKayla; and his great grandchildren, Liam and Ember.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roper Funeral Home and Crematory (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
