She is survived by: her husband Howard Carter; her children, Toni (Mark Benefield) and Steven (Vicki Carter) of Tallapoosa; her grandchildren, Matthew Benefield, Casey Benefield, Josh Holdbrooks, Justin Holdbrooks and Jacob Holdbrooks; and her great grandchildren, Turner Daniel Benefield, Canaan Holdbrooks, Cohen Luke Holdbrooks, Piper Mae Holdbrooks, Hudson Holdbrooks and Hanson Holdbrooks.
