As George departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved George. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Tooke and Eva Ray Griner (Leon); his stepfather Leon Griner; his sisters, Joyce Walker and Phyllis King; and his great-nephew Greg Johns.
He is survived by: his children, Jorje "Eric" Tooke of Lexington, Cassandra Tooke, Christopher Tooke (Leticia) of Tarrytown and Tabitha Collins (Guy) of Vidalia; his sister Amanda Mullen (Gene) of Floral City; and his sibling's children, Teresa Johns of Floral City and Josh Mullen (Katie) of Burien, Washington. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and three great-nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475).
