He was predeceased by: his parents, H. G. Judkins (Jud) and Edna Kidd Judkins; and his siblings, Bill Judkins and Anne Sowders. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, John Judkins (Stephanie) and Mary Judkins; his grandsons, Dylan Ball, Aidan Mullins and Foster Judkins; his sister Polly Tipton; his niece Erin Jones (Justin); and his nephews, Anderson Kerr (Katie), Greg Judkins (Michelle) and Jeff Judkins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Jasper United Methodist Church (85 W Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send a donation via Venmo to @pickenswrestlingboosterclub to help with the rising costs of participation fees for high school athletes. Coach Judkins was concerned that a student willing to participate wouldn't have the chance just because of financial situations and the wrestling boosters have graciously agreed to distribute those contributions to athletes in all sports.
