He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Leon Edwards and Rosalie Godfrey Edwards. He is survived by: his stepmother Nell McElrath Edwards; his siblings, Paul, Henry Edwards, Jean, Alice and Betty; his wife Ann Rutland Edwards; and his children, Linda Edwards Whitener, Karen Edwards, Nathan Edwards (Jennifer) and Raythan Edwards (Stacy). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
