He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Lee Deems and Annie Mae Cochran Deems; and his siblings, Jewel Pendergraft, Agnes Bowers, Raven Deems, Alton Deems, Coy Deems, Fain Deems, Floyd Deems and Raiford Deems.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Leatherwood Deems; his children, Kevin Deems (Keisha), Andy Deems and Kimberly Williams (Joel); his grandchildren, Anslee Earwood (Griffin), Will Deems (Skylar), Cole Deems, Colt Williams and Cody Pinion (Becca); his great grandchildren, Landon Earwood, Graham Earwood and River Pinion; his sisters, Sara Motes, Joyce Bowman and Onita Lindsey; and his sister-in-law Jo Ann Deems.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Floyd Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (2171 Hills Creek Rd, Taylorsville, GA 30178).
