He is survived by: his wife Dessie Faye Thompson Edwards; his children, Amanda Faye Edwards of Bremen, Robby Joseph Edwards, Sr. of Temple and Jessica Starr Edwards of Bremen; his siblings, Brenda Gail Ploof of Kinder, LA, Donna Marie Watkins of Gadsden, AL and Richard Paul Edwards of Temple; his grandchildren, Victoria Wheeler, Kayla Marie Edwards, Robby Joseph Edwards, Jr., Emmaleigh Edwards, Jakob Zane Sexton, Summer Breeze Sexton and Isabella Claire Sexton; and his great grandchild Oakley. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel (71 Park Heights St, Buchanan, GA 30113). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
