She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Eugene and Edwine Summers. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Cates; her daughter Trisha (Walter Hicks); her grandchildren, Leanne Cates, Logan Cates, Ty Hodges, Andrew Hicks and Jake Hicks; her sister-in-law Michelle Summers; her son Scott Cates (Christy Cates); her son-in-law Walter Hicks; her brother Ricky Summers; her nephew Cody Summers; and her brother-in-law Danny Cates.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rainwater Funeral Home (317 N Carroll St, Bowdon, GA 30108). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
