He is survived by: his children, Misty Staton of Tallapoosa, Jennifer Staton of Temple and Morgan Staton of Carrollton; and his siblings, Roger Staton of Bryceville, FL, Dianna Bell of Bryceville, FL and Linda Murrary (Jeff) of Douglasville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
