She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Wilson and Addie Lou Wilson; her husband Joe T. Shumake; and her siblings, Frances Earlene Driver, Gladys Bell Agan, Emmer Lou Craven, Joseph Jackson Wilson and James Hamilton Wilson.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Shumake of Temple; her grandchildren, Christian Nichole Stephens (Dustyn) of Douglasville and Katelyn Shumake of Temple; and her great grandchild Dakota Brooke Stephens. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hightower Funeral Home (318 Gordon St, Bremen, GA 30110). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
