He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Martenis and Mildred Amsbaugh Martenis; his wife Carolyn Susie Deeter Beynon; and his children, Linda Beynon and Timmy Beynon.
He is survived by: his children, Tawnya Arnett of Acworth, Mary Elizabeth (Lamar Grady) of Hiawassee, Raleign Beynon (Terri) of McDonough and Robert Beynon (Denise) of Tallapoosa; and his stepchildren, Sandra McIntyre (Nigel Barsby) of Grant, FL, Robert McIntyre (Jennifer) of Temple and Teresa Booker. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Collins Funeral Home (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the West Georgia Memorial Park (4194 Carrollton Villa Rica Hwy, Carrollton, GA 30116).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the mission group of First Baptist Church of Villa Rica, 1483 US-78 West, Villa Rica, GA 30180.
