She was predeceased by: her father Roy Norton. She is survived by: her mother Marilyn Faye Peacock Carter of Fernandino Beach, FL; her husband David Staton of Temple; her children, Misty Staton of Tallapoosa, Jennifer Staton of Temple and Morgan Staton of Carrollton; and her sister Kim Ramsey of Atlanta. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
