He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Ray and Janie Lee Tucker Ray; his brother-in-law William C. Godwin; and his wife Donna Dailey Ray. He is survived by: his children, Laura Messimer (Danny) of Shady Valley, Maria Oblouk (Jonas) of Blue Ridge, Georgia and Travis Ray (Jeanned'erie) of Ormond Beach, Florida; his sister Shelia Joan Ray Godwin; his grandchildren, Nathanael Turk, Hannah Flockhart, Gabriel Ray, Sage Oblouk, Jonathan Wuske, James Oblouk, Rebecca Ray, Lilian Oblouk and Lucas Ray; and his great grandchild Nataleah Turk.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Liberty Christian Church. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Liberty Christian Church Cemetery.
