She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Harrison Rice and Millie Josephine Douglas Rice; her husband Arvel Davis; and her siblings, Louise Rice Oleson, Velma Rice Hair, George W. Rice, Doug Rice, Alvin Rice, Edgar Rice and Howard Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Deshion Davis Weatherly of Temple, Georgia and Edgar Ray Davis of Newbern; her grandchildren, Chris Davis (Tayler), Alison Davis Carroll (Timothy), Parker Davis, Jeff Weatherly (Beth), Todd Weatherly (Jenny), Lauren Weatherly Stephens (Timmy) and David Weatherly (Chelsey); and her great grandchildren, Paisley Davis, Olivia Carroll, Justin Weatherly, Hannah Weatherly, Kane Weatherly, Raelyn Weatherly, Abigail Stephens, Wyatt Weatherly and Sawyer Weatherly.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059).
