He is survived by: his sons, Randy (Nina Tallent), Jeff (Johanna Tallent) and Tabiatha Tallent of Temple; his siblings, Charlotte Ray of New Georgia, Gary (Lynda Tallent) and Kenny Tallent of Villa Rica; his sister-in-law Mary Dodd; his grandchildren, Zach Tallent (Kelly), Cole Tallent (Nicole), Michaela Herrell (Jake), Jameson Yates, Will Tallent, Annabelle Leigh Donahue (Will), Blake Tallent (Alanah), Brooke Smolinski (Zachary), Thomas Tallent, Logan Dodd (Lauren), Sammie Jo Dodd, Eli Dodd (Kylee Vietch), Emma Dodd and Chris Yates; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Ella Rose, Suzanna, Rosemary, Maddie Grace, Jeb, Judah, Isaac, Alivia, Addison, Easton, Everleigh and Josephine; and also Shae of Temple. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel (306 Westview Dr, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn Villa Rica Chapel (306 Westview Dr, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A burial was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Melrose Hills Memorial Gardens (9446 Villa Rica Hwy, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
