He is survived by: his children, Erin Slaton of Monroe, LA and Tara Slaton of Monroe, LA; his sisters, Cindy Pritchett of Carrollton, Shelia Jordan of Temple and Elizabeth McCollum of Villa Rica; and his grandchildren, Tyler Simpson, Kathleen Slaton, Dominic Simpson and Drake Simpson.
