He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Ray Locklear and Elender Mae Bowman Locklear; and his siblings, Tim Locklear, Dennis Locklear and Linda Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Holly Hicks Locklear; his children, Cody Locklear, Kacie Locklear, Connar Locklear and Colson Locklear (Jayden); his stepdaughter Claudia Cooper-Hicks (Ashlee); and his brothers, Edward Locklear, Larry Locklear and Silas Locklear. He is also survived by Step-grandchildren and a son-to-be grandson along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home (304 W Elm St, Rockmart, GA 30153). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
