She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Leonard Gordy and Tommie Byrd Mauldin Gordy; her grandparents, Thomas Hunt Mauldin, Birdie Emma Thompson Mauldin, Oscar Gnome Gordy and Martha Susie Braddy Gordy; her husband Ollie Royce Vickers; her sister Sue; her brother-in-law Harvel Estes; her aunt Bessilu Mauldin; and her stepdaughter Pam Scott.
She is survived by: her niece Rhonda Moseley (John) of Florence, AL; her great-nieces, Jennifer Moseley of Huntsville, AL and Ashley Migliaccio (Mike) of Collierville, TN; her son-in-law Tyre D. Scott of Macon, GA; her granddaughter Megan Sparks (Patrick) of Swannanoa, NC; her caregiver Emma Weston; and also, Jonah and Eli Migliaccio of Collierville, TN.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fletcher Day Funeral Home (628 N Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at the South View Cemetery (942 S Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286).
