With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Torris of Thomaston, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Anna may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her father Julius Horvath; and her husband Michael Joseph Toris. She is survived by: her mother Rose Kalman Horvath; her son Michael Toris (Kim) of Molena; and her granddaughters, Taylor Donnelly (Peter) of Knoxville and Kayla Toris of McDonough.
A Mass was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Peter the Rock Catholic Church (3594 Barnesville St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at the Upson Memorial Gardens (1367 Woodland Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
