She was predeceased by: her father James Marion Helms; her son Ronnie Blount; and her siblings, Doris Helms Wainwright, Melvin Helms, Eugene Helms and Larry Helms.
She is survived by: her husband Lamont C. Blount of Thomaston; and her children, Judy Warren (Andy) of Thomaston, Keith Blount (Lori) of Zebulon, GA and David Blount (Laurel) of Thomaston. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
