He is survived by: his wife Jan Perry Smith of Thomaston; his daughter Stephanie Martin (Jack) of Tulsa; his siblings, Amy Diane Smith Street and Troy Jerome Smith; and his stepfather John M. Gilbert of Barnesville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
