She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Will Barfield; her cousin Judy Storey Payne (Harold); and her granddaughter Jessica Michelle Glass Atkins (Granby). She is survived by: her cousin Steven Shepard; her aunt Becky; her sibling's children, Donna Dobbs Moore (Charles), H. Marcus Dobbs (Teresa) and Philip Raymond Dobbs (Michelle); her grandchildren, Sarah Bell Corrado (Justin), Johnathan David Bell, Rebecca Fiske (Jason) and Mark Anthony Glass, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Abigail Faith Atkins, Ashlyn Grace Atkins, Christian Asa Bell and Sheriff Fiske; and also, Joni Payne Young (Scott) and Julie Ann Payne Crane (Mike).

Memorials may be made to the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, Atlanta, Ga.
