With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Heard of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on January 29, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, George W. Ross and Ester Clyde Tomberlin; her husband Bryant Lester Heard; and her sisters, Jewel Jones, Elizabeth Holmes and Linda Hewitt.
She is survived by : her children, Kathy Calvert (Tim) of Zebulon and Lester "David" Heard of Thomaston; and her siblings, William "Bill" Ross of Marietta, Ralph Ross of Thomaston and Ester Brown of Abilene. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
