He was predeceased by : his parents, Billy Thomas Bridges and Rilla Kelley Bridges; his wife Patricia Stevens Bridges; his niece Mary Lee Gray; his nephew Joshua Bridges; and his brother-in-law Leroy Versemann.

He is survived by : his siblings, Alice Versemann of Thomaston and Barry Bridges of Mauk; and his nieces and nephews, John Versemann, Jacob Bridges, Adelyn Bishoff, Aldyn Walker, Amanda Corbin, Travis Foster, Sarah Riggio and Jesse Foster.
