With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlton Howard Jr. of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Howard Sr. and Janie Mae Furlow; and his siblings, Chester Howard, James Howard, Kenneth Howard and Claudette Cunningham.
He is survived by: his wife LaKeitha Howard; his sons, Mark Howard and Erwin Hudson; and his siblings, Prentice Howard, Gary Howard (Ladone), Tony Howard, Linda Howard, Sarah Howard, Aretha Howard, Rosette Howard, Martha Woodard (Willie) and Marcie Howard. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mary Lizzie Baptist Church (430 Triune Ave, Thomaston, GA 30286).
