It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Regina Carr of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lee Self and Grading Johnson Self; her husband David Carr Sr.; her son David Lee Carr Jr.; and her grandchild Cortney Kornegay Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Carr and Amie Kornegay; her sisters, Cindy Dye, Theresa Yates and Wendy Snody (Dean); and her grandchildren, Kaylie New, Ayden Carr, Reagan Kornegay and Remington Kornegay.
