He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edwin Bennett and Rosa Fay Lewis Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Kecia Bennett of Thomaston Ga; his children, Katie Moll (Daniel), Jessica Thompson (Erica) of Manchester Ga, John Bennett of La and Jonathan Cole (Kirsten) of Hawaii; and his siblings, Anthony Bennett (Laverne) of Maysville Ga, Timothy Bennett of Nicholson Ga and Melody Nichols (Elmer Shrimshire). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Gathering Church (456 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286).
