She was predeceased by : her parents, Lester J. Wainwright and Jessie Spillers Wainwright; her husband Terrell Tatum; her son John Tatum; and her siblings, Christine Byrd, Emmie Lee Wainwright, Jack Wainwright and Walter Wainwright.

She is survived by : her caregiver Betty Byrd. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
