He is survived by: his wife Kay Scarborough Murphy of The Rock; his children, Holly Smith (Greg) of The Rock, Brian Murphy (Jodie) of The Rock and Kevin Murphy of Towson; his sister Patricia Heisler (Jack) of Altamont Springs; his grandchildren, Madison Smith of Thomas Joel and Rachel Fryer (Jacob); and his great grandchildren, Maddie and Macie Fryer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
