He is survived by: his sons, Alton Odell Hammond (Pastor Diane) of Culloden Georgia and James Edward Hammond (Pam) of Thomaston, Georgia; his sisters, Mattie Pearl Mobley of Detroit Michigan, Mary Raines of Detroit Michigan, Marie Woodard (Mack) of Roberta Georgia and Earlene Woodard (Harold) of Roberta Georgia; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Hammond of Macon, Georgia and Henry Martin of Detroit; and his in-laws, Susan Harris (Hermon), Harriett Lockhart, Hilary Lockhart, Mary Ward and George Hamilton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, and many dear friends.
