He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Thomas Smith and Ruby Estelle Cleveland Smith; and his brothers, Ronnie and Hugh Smith, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Verna Smith of Thomaston; his daughters, Kelli Bailey (Tony) of Thomaston, Krystal Smith of Thomaston and Katie Heinrich (Luke) of Thomaston; his stepchildren, Trudy Kelly of St. Simons Island, Kevin Anthony (Kristin) of Monroe and Michael Anthony of Monroe; and his brothers, Hulet Smith Sr. (Peggy) of Thomaston and Kenneth Smith of Seattle, WA.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
