He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Haygood and Eva Mae Carter Chambley; and his wife Peggy Fossett Haygood. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Haygood of Thomaston, Cynthia Farrell of Thomaston, Karen Holmes (Dennis) of Thomaston, Susan Collins (Paul) of Thomaston, Lamar Haygood of Thomaston and Randal Gene Carr of Thomaston; and his sister Kathleen Blackmon of Thomaston. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
