She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Peter Shipp and Alice Miller Shipp; her husband Billy Avery; and her sisters, Charlotte Shipp and Martha Ann Shipp Bailey.
She is survived by: her sons, Chad Parker (Karen) of LaGrange, Dr. Kirby Parker (Christina) of Montgomery, AL and Burt Parker (Joy) of Thomaston; her grandchildren, Gabe Parker (Krystle), Caleb Parker (Grace), Rose Greenwood (Joel), Liz Burrow (Jack), Kate Parker, Ryan Parker, Ruby Parker, Evan Parker, Malachi Parker, Lottie Parker, Elli Parker, Ben Baily (Maddie), Gideon Parker, Merrily Parker, Knox Parker and Tynley Parker; and her great grandchildren, Alice Bailey, Margaret Bailey, Christopher Burrow and Henry Bailey.
