He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Wade Phillips and Barbara Jones Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Phillips of Thomaston Ga; his sons, Jon Phillips (Adrian) of Thomaston Ga and Brian "Beetle" Phillips (Arlyn) of Thomaston Ga; and his siblings, Jeff Phillips (Dale) of Thomaston Ga, Ricky Phillips (Susan) of Thomaston Ga, Lynn Phillips (Lucinda) of Thomaston Ga and Debra Renfroe (Ronny) of Thomaston Ga. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
