She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Otis Curry and Mildred Spillers Curry; her siblings, Phyllis Curry Fallin and Albert Curry; and her cousin Marilyn Dickerson.
She is survived by: her husband Wesley Brown of The Rock; her children, Lynn Shaver (Bill) and Johnny Brown (Lachelle) of The Rock; her grandchildren, Brandy S. Chastain (Clint) of Thomaston, Bryan Shaver (Shanan) of Somerset, KY, Adam Bray (Lisa) of St. Louis, MO, Claire Huckaby (Seth) of Thomaston, Jared Brown (Lauren) of Charlotte, NC, Jacob Brown (Danielle) of Greenville, SC and Jonathan Brown (Emma) of Thomaston; and her great grandchildren, Hudson Chastain, Hadley Chastain, Harper Chastain, Brylie Shaver, Brynlie Shaver, Blakely Shaver, Boyd Shaver, Max Bray, Luke Bray, Beaudie Huckaby, Maisie Huckaby, Olivia Brown, Weston Brown and Lanier Brown.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Fletcher Day Funeral Home (628 N Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
